About Us

The Coalition of Michigan Organizations of Nursing (COMON) is a collaborative network dedicated to strengthening the voice, leadership, and impact of nursing across Michigan. By bringing together professional nursing organizations, educators, and healthcare leaders, COMON fosters innovation, advocacy, and excellence in nursing practice and education.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide community, collaboration, and new knowledge for Michigan’s premier nursing organizations and their leaders.

What We Do

  • Collaboration: Uniting Michigan’s nursing organizations to share best practices, strengthen partnerships, and build collective impact.
  • Leadership Development: Supporting leaders in nursing through mentorship, networking, and educational opportunities.
